Lactation Pumpkin Oat Smoothie – Tips for this Recipe

This recipe require just a few ingredients and is very easy to make. Just another reason why this makes a great snack for breastfeeding moms.

This smoothie starts with 2 bananas. You can use fresh or frozen. But frozen are preferred because they give your smoothie extra creaminess.

Coconut milk is a great food to eat for increasing breast milk supply. This recipe uses the kind found in the refrigerated dairy section of the grocery store, such as the Silk brand. Alternatively, you could use canned coconut milk, it will just make a thicker smoothie.

You could also use almond milk, oat milk or cashew milk if you prefer.

Just make sure that you get an unsweetened version to help keep your sugar intake low.

Ginger and pumpkin pie spice make this smoothie full of Fall flavors. But also anti inflammatory ingredients that are good for your health.

The real milk maker in this recipe though is the Milk Dust lactation protein powder. It’s made with ingredients specifically designed for boost breast milk. Plus it adds protein which can help you stay full longer (and lose the baby weight)

If after blending you still see chunks of oatmeal or ginger, blend an additional 2 minutes until completely mixed.
